HOW IS PORCELAIN VENEER MADE?
Like all our treatments, E-max veneers are painless and our aesthetic dentists are planning and helping achieve your dreamsmile with the greatest possible care.
1. SMILE DESIGN
We make a design plan based on your needs. On one hand, this is a computer design, for which we also use the portraits made of you, because your teeth must be in line with your face. Computer-aided design is complemented by a 3D visual model, which is made based on the impression of your teeth. Very often Mock-ups are also made: this means that we try in the desired smile in your mouth. If we get a green light, work can be started.
2. TREATMENT
Tooth treatment in this case means minimal preparation: less than 1 millimeter of the tooth should be taken from the tooth enamel. This buccal surface will be covered by the E-max veneer.
3. MAKING THE PORCELAIN VENEERS
After the preparation, we take an impression of your teeth. The dental lab prepares the veneers based on the impression and the previous smile designs. As long as your future teeth are finished, we make life-like Cosmedent RSVP temporary veneers to keep your teeth protected.
4. CEMENTATION OF PORCELAIN VENEERS
Your dentist fixes the veneers on the teeth with a special adhesive. After that, you just have to enjoy the beautiful and carefree smile!
